Reports to. The position reports to the Manager Clinical Education Unit and will liaise closely with the General Manager Clinical Services and Senior Nurse. Purpose: Strengthen the capacity of the primary care and community-based service system to deliver reproductive and sexual health services so that people can make decisions about their reproductive and sexual health and wellbeing that are right for them. The role will also include a proportion of clinical service provision to be negotiated with the Manager Clinical Education Unit. The Nurse Educator is responsible for ensuring the quality of sexual and reproductive health education delivered by FPV meets the requisite standards required by an accredited education provider. The position is designed in line with the classification definitions and core duties outlined in the FPV and ANMF (Vic branch) Enterprise Agreement 2017.
