Request for Mediation. A request for mediation must contain a brief written statement of the nature of the dispute or claim, and the names, addresses, and phone numbers of all parties to the dispute or claim, and those who will represent them, if any, in the mediation.
Request for Mediation. (a) If the Parties are unable to resolve a Dispute through the Negotiation Procedure, a Party (the “Requesting Party”), by Notice to the other Party given within five Business Days after expiry of the period set out in or agreed by the Parties under Section 3.3, may request that the Dispute be mediated through non-binding mediation under this Section 4 by delivering to the other Party a Notice (a “Mediation Notice”) containing a written summary of relevant Information relative to the matters that remain in Dispute and the names of three individuals who are acceptable to the Requesting Party to act as a sole Mediator.
(b) Any Mediator must be impartial and independent of each of the Parties, be an experienced commercial mediator, and preferably have experience and knowledge concerning the subject matter of the Dispute.
(c) Any mediation commenced under this Mediation Procedure will continue only until the first of the following occurs:
(i) the Party in receipt of a Mediation Notice declines to submit to mediation and gives Notice thereof to the Requesting Party;
(ii) the Party in receipt of a Mediation Notice fails to send a Mediation Response in accordance with Section 4.1(d);
(iii) the Parties are unable to appoint a Mediator within the period allowed by
Request for Mediation. The Union may choose to file a request for mediation with PERC in accordance with WAC 000-00-000, with a copy to the OFM State Human Resources Labor Relations Section (LRS) and the agency’s Human Resources Office within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the Step 2 decision.
Request for Mediation. Within five (5) business days after the Step One answer, the grievant or Western may ask for a mediation team to assist the parties in resolving a grievance. Such a request shall be made, in writing, to the Director of Academic Labor Relations and the Chapter. Mediation of a grievance shall take place if one or both parties request it in a timely manner; however, the Chapter must approve any mediation request made by a member of the bargaining unit (see 12.§7, above). Promptly upon receipt of a request for mediation, the Director of Academic Labor Relations and the Chapter Grievance Officer shall jointly name a two-person mediation team. The two-person mediation team shall be composed of one member of the panel appointed by the Chapter and one member of the panel appointed by the xxxxxxx. Any member of a mediation panel may serve on more than one mediation team.
Request for Mediation. (1) For the purposes of section 6(1), a request may be made by any of the following parties —
(a) an employee;
(b) a group of employees;
(c) an employer;
(d) a group of employers;

(2) The request must be made in a manner and form approved in writing by the Chief Commissioner.
Request for Mediation. 1. If agreement is not reached by the parties, after consideration of proposals and counter proposals, either party may petition the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) to assign a mediator.
2. In the event that the parties have not reached agreement thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the contract, they shall petition the FMCS to assign a mediator.
Request for Mediation. 19 In the event that the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level 20 II, they, within five (5) days, may request in writing that the Association 21 submit the matter to mediation. Within five (5) days of the request of 22 the grievant, the Association may notify the Superintendent in writing 1 of a request for the services of a State mediator. The district shall then 2 contact the California State Mediation and Conciliation Service within 3 ten (10) days and request that a mediator be provided.
Request for Mediation. Following completion of the escalation procedure described in Section 2.04 of Article II of this Agreement, either party may initiate mediation by delivering a Request to the other party in accordance with Section 5.04 of Article V of this Agreement.
Request for Mediation. If Consultant is dissatisfied with the results following exhaustion of the above dispute resolution procedures, Consultant shall make a written request to SANDAG for mediation. SANDAG shall respond to a request for mediation within 30 calendar days. If SANDAG agrees mediation is appropriate, a mutually-acceptable mediator shall be selected by the parties, and the parties will proceed to mediation of the dispute.
