Common use of Requests for Administrative Leave Clause in Contracts

Requests for Administrative Leave. Administrative leave shall be granted by the appointing authority upon request of the employee and, except in emergencies, shall be scheduled with as much notice in advance as possible. Requests that do not conflict with operational needs shall not be unreasonably denied. In case of scheduling conflicts, emergencies and religious observances shall have preference over other types of personal business. Otherwise seniority with the Judiciary shall be given preference.
