Xxxxxxxx will obtain prior Authorization for the total amount of a Transaction via electronic terminal, gateway, or other compliant and certified device before completing any Transaction, and Merchant will not process any Transaction that has not been authorized. Merchant will follow all instructions received during the Authorization process. Upon receipt of an Authorization approval Merchant may consummate only the Transaction authorized and must note on the Sales Draft the Authorization number. Where Authorization is obtained, Merchant will be deemed to warrant the true and matching identity of the Cardholder.
