Common use of Requirement for a Writing Clause in Contracts

Requirement for a Writing. No amendment to or cancellation of this Agreement or any provision of this Agreement shall be effective for any purpose unless adopted in accordance with the procedures prescribed in Belmont Zoning Ordinance Section 28 and specifically set forth in a writing that refers expressly to this Agreement and is signed by duly authorized representatives of the Parties. The City Clerk shall record an appropriate notice of any amendment or cancellation with the San Mateo County Recorder not later than ten (10) days after the effective date of the action effecting such amendment or cancellation, accompanied by a legal description of the Property.
