Common use of Requirements of Authorities Clause in Contracts

Requirements of Authorities. Subject to settlement, the Buyer must, at its expense, comply with any valid notice or order issued before, on or after the Contract Date, pursuant to any Law or by any Authority necessitating the doing of work or the expenditure of money on or in relation to the Property or any path or road adjoining the Land. The Buyer agrees to indemnify the Seller and the Receivers in respect of the doing of work or the expenditure of money to comply with the notice or order.
