Resale or Redistribution Clause Samples
The Resale or Redistribution clause defines the rules and restrictions regarding the subsequent sale or distribution of goods, services, or intellectual property acquired under the agreement. Typically, this clause prohibits or limits the buyer from reselling, transferring, or otherwise redistributing the purchased items to third parties without the seller’s prior consent. For example, a software license may restrict the licensee from sharing or selling copies to others. The core function of this clause is to protect the original provider’s interests and control over their products, preventing unauthorized distribution and maintaining market integrity.
