Research Associate Clause Samples
Research Associate. An employee who is qualified to collaborate and assist with research projects. Research Associates are not department members.
Research Associate. Research Assistants who obtain terminal degrees in their fields while employed at the 12 University shall advance to the rank of Adjunct Research Associate at the beginning of 13 the term immediately following the award of their degree.
Research Associate. Is an unranked Academic with a Doctoral degree or equivalent degree, and at least five (5) years of research experience. A Research Associate may be appointed to conduct research independently or as a member of a research team. The Research Associate may be hired on a full-time or part-time basis.
Research Associate. Any non-faculty employee of the University of 27 Massachusetts Dartmouth whose primary responsibilities are to: (a) 28 supervise research activities or (b) to conduct research through the 29 University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Research Associate. Supports efforts of Project Directors, Project Managers, Research Associate II, and/or Research Associate I in developing high-quality research products on behalf of clients. Essential duties and responsibilities include: • Supporting efforts of upper-level staff in developing high-quality research products for clients; • Helping support efforts of supervisors in the development of proposals targeted toward potential clients; • Working closely with student interns, sometimes in a supervisory capacity, to support the production of high-quality reports, presentations, and publications; • Using statistical software to locate data and supply formatted data tostaff; • Providing support in the areas of research and evaluation, and training and technical assistance.
Research Associate. (1) The duties of a research associate shall include collaboration in, and assistance with, research projects under the supervision of the grantee. With the exception of duties outlined in this clause, research associates work shall not otherwise include duties normally performed by other employee classifications listed in this Collective Agreement. An outline of the duties to be undertaken by a research associate will be provided to the Faculty Association by OUC for all research associate positions.
(2) The total assigned duty time shall normally not exceed 35 real hours per week. Exceptions to this may take place given the demands of the research project and provided that the excess is assigned in a fair and reasonable manner.

Research Associate. The term of appointment for a research associate extends for a designated period from one semester (or one-half year) up to three (3) years and automatically expires at the end of that period. The term of the initial appointment may not exceed three (3) years. Such an appointment may be terminal or renewable, as specified in the letter of initial appointment or as modified in subsequent correspondence from the ▇▇▇▇. The responsibilities of a research associate will depend upon the specific research project with which the person is working and must be approved by the ▇▇▇▇. A research associate with a renewable appointment may be reappointed to additional one (1)- or two (2)- year terms upon application by the faculty member to the appropriate ▇▇▇▇, with the support of the sponsoring department or School. Reappointment is contingent upon evidence of successful research, the existence of continued funding, and the approval of the ▇▇▇▇.
Research Associate. Emory University School of Medicine ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is the co-director of the Diabetes Management Feedback Program (DMFP) at ▇▇▇▇▇ Health System. The DMFP supports diabetes-related performance feedback and decision support flowsheets to providers in the ▇▇▇▇▇ Primary Care Clinics. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is a Research Grant Reviewer for both the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association since 2011. She is currently working on hypoglycemia and provider inertia /feedback.
Research Associate. Research associates shall be a term appointment not to exceed the term of the research project. This appointment shall not contribute toward the probationary period for any subsequent employment.
