Common use of Reservation of Police Power Clause in Contracts

Reservation of Police Power. In granting this Franchise, the County does not waive any of its police powers to regulate the use of County roads or rights-of-way in the interest of public health, safety, and general welfare; provided, however, that the County shall adopt ordinances and regulations in a manner consistent with the terms of this Franchise.
