Common use of Resignation by Trustee Clause in Contracts

Resignation by Trustee. The Trustee and any successor Trustee may at any time resign by giving written notice by registered or certified mail to the District and the Certificate Insurer. Upon receiving such notice of resignation, the District shall promptly appoint a successor Trustee in accordance with Section 8.07. Any resignation or removal of the Trustee and appointment of a successor Trustee shall become effective upon acceptance of appointment by the successor Trustee. Upon such acceptance, the District shall mail notice thereof to the Certificate Insurer and to the Certificate Owners at their respective addresses set forth on the Registration Books.
