Resolving Disputes. The landlord and tenant are required to follow the law. If they have problems or disagreements, the landlord and tenant should first discuss the issue and attempt to resolve it themselves. If the landlord or tenant feels that the other is not obeying the law, they may contact the Landlord and Tenant Board for information about their rights and responsibilities, including whether they may apply to the Landlord and Tenant Board to resolve the dispute.
