Common use of Responsibilities of the Borrower Clause in Contracts

Responsibilities of the Borrower. Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the Borrower shall (i) perform all of its obligations with respect to the Pledged Contracts to the same extent as if a security interest in the Pledged Contracts had not been granted hereunder and the exercise by the Lender of its rights hereunder shall not relieve Borrower from such obligations and (ii) pay when due any taxes, including without limitation, sales, excise and personal property taxes payable by it in connection with the Pledged Contracts. The Lender shall not have any obligation or liability with respect to any Pledged Contracts or other Collateral, nor shall any of them be obligated to perform any of the obligations of the Borrower thereunder.
