RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EMPLOYEES. 1. Each employee is responsible to the Superintendent for compliance with the policies, rules and regulations of the Board, through the administrative officer in charge of the area of his/her employment. In addition, each employee must comply with any administrative regulations, and with the educational philosophy and programs of the Board. All Board policies will be made available to the President of OAPSE. 2. The Board and Union recognize the importance of a collaborative effort in maintaining a safe and effective School District. Teamwork with its employees is essential in providing this District with the best service. With such beliefs, the Union and Board of Education support the development of mutually agreed upon committees to address issues pertaining to the maintenance and operations of our buildings, equipment, and transportation of students. In all cases, the committees shall take into account State and Federal Law, Board of Education policy, the collective bargaining agreement and availability of funds. 3. Each employee will be provided a copy of the Contract.
