Responsibility Compensation Clause Samples
Responsibility Compensation. Effective July 1, 2003, the base salary for all uniform members of the bargaining unit will be adjusted as follows:
Responsibility Compensation. In addition to compensation for the basic work year (Section 23.1 herein) and additional days of work (Section 23.2 herein), employees will be compensated for professional responsibilities worked outside of the basic work year and additional days of work. Compensation shall be paid in accordance with the responsibility salary schedules contained in this Agreement. (See Appendix E.) These additional professional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
23.3.1 Classroom set up or take down;
23.3.2 Conferencing and communicating with parents and students in addition to conference weeks;
23.3.3 Assessment/Reporting of student progress;
23.3.4 Providing individual help to students;
23.3.5 Curriculum development including preparing and revising instructional materials;
23.3.6 Professional development and study including working with colleagues;
23.3.7 Taking classes for professional improvement;
23.3.8 Direct involvement in student activities;
23.3.9 Relevant conferences, workshops and community activities

Responsibility Compensation. An hourly employee of Central Lyon County Fire 9 Protection District that is required to work in an acting position of a higher rank shall be paid at 10 the hourly rate of that higher rank’s first step rate of pay.
11 A. This shall be paid on an hour for hour basis, and shall be in effect whenever the 12 Member works in the higher classification for one (1) or more hours and will be paid in ¼ hour 13 increments after the first hour.
