Restricted Compounds Clause Samples
The Restricted Compounds clause defines specific chemicals or substances that are prohibited or limited in use within the scope of an agreement, such as in manufacturing, supply, or product composition. Typically, this clause lists particular compounds—like certain heavy metals, hazardous solvents, or regulated additives—that must not be present above defined thresholds in supplied goods or materials. Its core function is to ensure compliance with legal, safety, or environmental standards, thereby reducing liability and protecting parties from the risks associated with the use of dangerous or regulated substances.
Restricted Compounds. The NEKTAR AL MANUFACTURING FACILITY used in the manufacture, storage, and shipment of the SELECTED REAGENT will not knowingly contain any contamination by penicillins, cephalosporins, beta lactams, tetracyclines, antineoplastic agents, and compounds classified as Pregnancy Category X as defined in 21 CFR § 201.57(f)(6)(i)(e), including without limitation, FSH/LHRH oligopeptides.
Restricted Compounds. For purposes of this Section 20.3.4, “Restricted Compounds” has the respective meaning set forth in this Section 20.3.4(c):
