Restricted Prospective Customer Clause Samples
The Restricted Prospective Customer clause defines certain potential customers that one party is prohibited from soliciting or engaging with, typically due to prior relationships or ongoing negotiations involving the other party. In practice, this clause may list specific companies or individuals, or set criteria for identifying such customers, and restricts the covered party from marketing or selling to them for a defined period. Its core function is to protect existing business interests and prevent conflicts or competition over valuable leads or accounts during and after the contractual relationship.
