Common use of Restriction of Communication Clause in Contracts

Restriction of Communication. From the advertisement date of this invitation until an award notice is sent, Contractors are not allowed to communicate for any reason with any staff of GDOT, including the Commissioner, GDOT Board Members, and Legislators, except through the contact identified in Table 1 – General Information of the ITB form. Prohibited communication includes all contact or interaction, including but not limited to telephonic communications, emails, faxes, letters, or personal meetings, such as lunch, entertainment, or otherwise. For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending Contractor.
