Common use of Restrictions on Exercise of Powers Clause in Contracts

Restrictions on Exercise of Powers. The powers of the Authority shall be exercised in the manner provided in the Act and in the Bond Law, and, except for those powers set forth in the Bond Law, shall be subject (in accordance with Section 6509 of the Act) to the restrictions upon the manner of exercising such powers that are imposed upon the District in the exercise of similar powers.

The powers of the Financing Authority shall be exercised in the manner provided in the Act Joint Powers Law and in the Bond LawAct, and, except for the exercise of those powers set forth in the Bond LawAct, shall be subject (in accordance with Section 6509 of the ActJoint Powers Law) to the restrictions upon the manner of exercising such powers that are imposed upon the District in the exercise of similar powersSchool District.
