Restrictions on Use and Disclosure of Protected Information. Except as otherwise authorized in the Contract or this Attachment, COUNTY may only Use or Disclose Protected Information as minimally necessary to provide the services to STATE as described in the Contract and this Attachment, or as otherwise required by law, provided that such Use or Disclosure of Protected Information, if performed by STATE, would not violate the Contract, this Attachment, HIPAA, or state and federal statutes or regulations that apply to the Protected Information.
