Common use of Resumption of Leased Premises Clause in Contracts

Resumption of Leased Premises. If the Leased Premises or any part of the Leased Premises is resumed by any authority so as to render the Leased Premises inaccessible or substantially unfit for the occupation of the Lessee, this Lease may be terminated without compensation or other liability by either the Lessor or the Lessee by thirty (30) calendar days’ notice to the other but without affecting the rights of either party against the other in respect of any previous breaches of the provisions of this Lease.
