Common use of Resumption Clause in Contracts

Resumption. Either the Landlord or the Tenant may terminate this Lease by giving the other party not less than 1 month’s notice expiring on any day if a Government Authority resumes the Premises or the Building (or any part of them) and in doing so makes the Premises unfit for the Tenant’s use. The Landlord is not liable to pay the Tenant any compensation because of resumption.
