Retirement Date. 5.01 The Normal Retirement Date for a Member will be the first day of the month next following attainment of age 65. 5.02 A member who is within ten (10) years of Normal Retirement Date may retire prior to his Normal Retirement Date and shall be entitled to receive the benefits prescribed by Section 7.02 hereof. 5.03 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 5.02 above, a Member who was a participant in the Plan prior to May 1st, 1972 and who accrued, prior to that date, retirement benefits which were payable in an unreduced form in the event of retirement at age 60, may elect to retire under the conditions specified in Section
