Retirement prior to July. 1, 1967. To each retired employee receiving retirement benefits from the mayor and city council prior to July 1, 1967, there shall be payable under this division the same retirement benefits that existed prior to July 1, 1967, except that there shall be no deductions from retirement benefits under this division for any payments received by the retired employee under any state or federal social security program.
