Reversions. If a bargaining unit member reverts, for any reason, to a lower classification, that member’s classification seniority shall be determined by the date of his/her original permanent appointment to that lower classification.

Reversions. If a bargaining unit member voluntarily reverts, for any reason, to a lower classification, that member’s classification seniority shall be determined by the date of his/her original permanent appointment to that lower classification. If a non-bargaining unit member voluntarily reverts into this bargaining unit that member’s classification seniority shall include all time served in a Department of Law Enforcement bargaining unit position. Reversions that occur during the promotional probationary period are governed by Article 40 – 40.6.
