Review by Trustees. Following the meeting with the employee the Chief shall make recommendations to the Board of Trustees who shall make the final decision regarding loss of pay/rank discipline. The employee will be provided a copy of the recommendations made by the Chief to the Board. The Board may conduct its own review of the allegations, investigation, and recommendations. The Board will issue the final determination of discipline involving loss of pay and/or rank.
