Common use of Revocation of Agreement Clause in Contracts

Revocation of Agreement. You understand that you may revoke this Agreement in writing within seven (7) calendar days after you sign it, and the Agreement shall not become effective or enforceable until the end of the seven-day period. To be effective, your written revocation must be submitted, in writing, and state “I hereby revoke acceptance of our Separation Agreement and General Release.” The revocation must be personally delivered to Xxxxxxx Xxxxx, or mailed to him at 00000 Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx 00000 and postmarked within seven (7) calendar days of execution of this Agreement. This Agreement shall not become effective or enforceable until the revocation period has expired. If the last day of the revocation period is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday in the state where you reside, then the revocation period shall not expire until the next following day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday. If you revoke this Agreement, the Company shall have no obligations under this Agreement.
