In practice, if the majority shareholder decides to sell their shares to a third party, minority shareholders with ride along rights can join the transaction and sell their shares on the same terms. This clause ensures that minority shareholders are not left behind or disadvantaged in significant share sales, promoting fairness and equal opportunity in liquidity events.
