Common use of RIGHT TO CANCEL CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

RIGHT TO CANCEL CONTRACT. This Contract may be returned within [10] days after you receive it. It can be mailed or delivered to either us, at the Annuity Service Center, or the representative who sold it to you. Return of this Contract by mail is effective on being postmarked, properly addressed and postage prepaid. The returned Contract will be canceled upon our receipt, and we will return your money in accordance with applicable law. Under certain circumstances, we have the right to allocate Purchase Payment(s) to the Money Market Subaccount until the expiration of the Right to Cancel period. If we so allocate Purchase Payment(s), we will refund the Purchase Payment(s), less any withdrawals, in the event of cancellation under the terms of this paragraph.
