Common use of Right to Enter Rooms Clause in Contracts

Right to Enter Rooms. The University reserves the unconditional right to enter any room occupied by students pursuant to this Agreement at any time in the interest of health, safety, and conduct, or for repair of facilities, as outline in the Guide to Residential Living. Authorized University personnel, or authorized agents or sub-contractors of the university, may enter a student’s room for any of these purposes at any time whether or not the occupants are present. Members of the residential life and housing and safety and security staffs may confiscate any unauthorized, suspicious, or illegal items that they find in the room during entry.
