Right to Withdraw After Amendment. Notwithstanding Section 7.1.1, a Party or Participant may withdraw its membership in the Authority following an amendment to this Agreement adopted by the Board which the Party or Participant’s Director(s) voted against provided such notice is given in writing within thirty (30) days following the date of the vote. Withdrawal of a Party or Participant shall require an affirmative vote of its governing board and shall not be subject to the six month advance notice provided in Section 7.1.1. In the event of such withdrawal, the Party or Participant shall be subject to the provisions of Section 7.3.
