Common use of Rights under the Visual Artists’ Rights Act Clause in Contracts

Rights under the Visual Artists’ Rights Act. To the extent the uses or removal of the Project under this Contract affect any rights Artist may have under the provisions of federal or state law, including the 1990 Visual Artists’ Rights Act, the Artist hereby knowingly waives any rights of preservation of the Project provided by those laws.

Rights under the Visual Artists’ Rights Act. To the extent the uses City’s use or removal of the Project under any artwork created pursuant to this Contract Agreement affect any rights Artist may have under the provisions of federal or state law, including the 1990 Visual Artists’ Rights Act, the Artist hereby knowingly waives any rights of preservation of the Project provided by those lawssuch rights.

Rights under the Visual Artists’ Rights Act. To the extent the uses uses, modification, destruction or removal of the Project under this Contract Agreement affect any rights Artist may have under the provisions of federal or state law, including the 1990 Visual Artists’ Rights ActAct under 17 U.S.C. §106A(a) and §113, the Artist hereby knowingly waives any rights of preservation of the Project provided by those laws.
