Common use of Rights Upon Expiration Clause in Contracts

Rights Upon Expiration. Upon expiration (but not earlier termination) of this Agreement, the licenses granted to Licensee hereunder shall survive on a fully paid, royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual basis. Except as provided in the preceding sentence, neither party shall have any further rights or obligations upon the expiration of this Agreement upon its regularly scheduled expiration date, other than the obligation of Licensee to make any and all reports and payments due under Section(s) 3 and/or 4 with respect to events that occurred prior to such expiration in accordance with Sections 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 and 6.6, and to reimburse Patent Costs accrued prior to expiration in accordance with Section 8.3. Notwithstanding the above, Sections 2.5, 2.6, 2.7, 7, 9.1, 9.2, 10.2, 10.3, 11, 12, 13 and 14 shall also survive the expiration of this Agreement.
