RIPRAP OVER TRENCH. In unpaved areas, riprap shall be constructed over water main trenches wherever the slope and condition of the ground warrant such construction. The design of the riprap shall be furnished by the engineer who prepared the plans and shall be as shown on the plans. Whether shown on the plans or not, the Manager may require riprap wherever ground conditions warrant such construction.
