Risk of Ethereum Mining Attacks Sample Clauses

Risk of Ethereum Mining Attacks. The blockchain used for the Token Smart Contract is susceptible to mining attacks, including double-spend attacks, majority mining power attacks, "selfish-mining" attacks, and race condition attacks. Any successful attacks present a risk to the Token Smart Contract, expected proper execution and sequencing of the Token transactions, and expected proper execution and sequencing of contract computations.

Risk of Ethereum Mining Attacks as with other cryptocurrencies, the Ethereum blockchain used for the OWL Token Generation Interface and the Smart Contract is susceptible to mining attacks, including but not limited to double-spend attacks, majority mining power attacks, “selfish-mining” attacks, and rare condition attacks. Any successful attacks present a risk to the Smart Contract, expected proper execution and sequencing of token transactions, and expected proper execution and sequencing of contract computations. By using the OWL Token Generation Interface you understand and accept that the network of miners will ultimately be in control of the generation and delivery of the OWL Tokens via the Smart Contract, and that a majority of miners could agree at any point to make changes, updates, modifications to, or effect a deletion or destruction of the Smart Contract, and that such a scenario could lead to a loss of GNO Tokens and/or OWL Tokens generated therefrom.
