ROADWAY ALIGNMENT Clause Samples

The ROADWAY ALIGNMENT clause defines the required positioning and layout of a roadway within a construction or development project. It typically specifies the horizontal and vertical path the road must follow, including reference points, curves, and elevations, as detailed in project plans or engineering drawings. By establishing these precise parameters, the clause ensures that the constructed roadway meets design standards and integrates properly with surrounding infrastructure, thereby preventing disputes or errors related to road placement.
ROADWAY ALIGNMENT. The proposed ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road will generally run from ▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Bayou to Fort Bend County Line. The road turns east-west between Forest Briar Drive and Castle Gate Drive. Right of way restrictions posed by any structures will be considered for the design. Sight triangles will be developed at all the existing intersections. There is also a proposed roundabout at Forest Briar Drive similar to the one at Castle Gate Drive being designed by another consultant. We propose to perform the following services as per attached submittal schedule (Exhibit B), for a contract lump sum fee of $1,341,647 per attached fee proposal (Exhibit C).
ROADWAY ALIGNMENT. The proposed Koeblen Road will run from East to West with horizontal curve to eliminate ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (Dog Leg) at the west end to connect to proposed pavement from Segment 3. Right of way restrictions posed by any structures will be considered for the design. Sight triangles will be developed at all the existing intersections. We propose to perform the following services as per attached submittal schedule (Exhibit B), for a contract lump sum fee of $864,994.50 per attached fee proposal (Exhibit C).
ROADWAY ALIGNMENT. The proposed West Sycamore Road will run from East to West with horizontal curve West of Eaglewood Trail Drive to connect to existing pavement. Right of way restrictions posed by any structures will be considered for the design. Sight triangles will be developed at all the existing intersections.
ROADWAY ALIGNMENT. The proposed Pool Hill Road will generally run from ▇▇▇▇ Road at the north to ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road at the south. The alignment is generally straight. Right of way restrictions posed by any structures will be considered for the design. Sight triangles will be developed at all the existing intersections. The proposed improvements along Pool Hill Road Segment 1 will be tied to the proposed improvements along Pool Hill Road Segment 2, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road Segment 2, and ▇▇▇▇ Road Segment 3. We propose to perform the following services as per attached submittal schedule (Exhibit B), for a contract lump sum fee of $916,826 per attached fee proposal (Exhibit C).
ROADWAY ALIGNMENT. The proposed roadways will generally have slight horizontal curves per the one−line diagram provided to HJ Consulting. The preliminary horizontal curves will be subject to approval from Fort Bend County prior to finalizing. Sight triangles will be developed at all the existing intersections. We propose to perform the following services as per attached submittal schedule (Exhibit B), for a contract lump sum fee of $981,347.00 per attached fee proposal (Exhibit C).
