The Roadway Maintenance clause defines the responsibilities for maintaining roads within a specified area or project. Roadway Maintenance. A party may provide roadway maintenance upon the request of the other party. Roadway maintenance does not include roadway reconstruction. This work may include but is not limited to snow removal, ditch spraying, roadside mowing, bituminous mill and overlay (only small projects), seal coat, bridge hits, major retaining wall failures, major drainage failures, and message painting. All services must be performed by an employee with sufficient skills, training, expertise or certification to perform such work, and work must be supervised by a qualified employee of the party performing the work.
Roadway Maintenance. Upon acceptance of the roadway improvements by the Village, the Village shall be responsible for snow plowing of all such road improvements that have been accepted. Owner shall be responsible for any such snow plowing prior to the time of such Village acceptance.
