Common use of ROCHE Optioned Patents Clause in Contracts

ROCHE Optioned Patents. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, ROCHE hereby grants to CHIRON and its Affiliates, so long as they remain Affiliates of CHIRON, an option to enter into a worldwide, non-exclusive, [**] license, with no right to sublicense except to have made or to conduct research, under ROCHE Optioned Patents to research, develop, make, have made, import, use, offer for sale and sell ROCHE Optioned Products for use in the Field and in Transplantation.
