SAMPLES AND PERMITS. Protocols for monitoring, sampling, observations, and measurements collection and processing, and related record-keeping must be consistent with guidance documents developed for Natural Resource Damage Assessment under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 and the Damage Assessment Remediation and Restoration Program, NOAA, August 1996. Subrecipient is responsible for compliance with local, state or federal requirements related to their research program, including ensuring they have any permits required to conduct their research. Physical samples collected must be stored in a manner that will ensure integrity and future access, for at least as long as records are retained.
