Sampling, Testing and Metering Clause Samples

The 'Sampling, Testing and Metering' clause establishes the procedures and standards for collecting, analyzing, and measuring materials or outputs relevant to the contract. It typically outlines who is responsible for conducting tests, the methods to be used, and how results are to be recorded or reported, such as specifying laboratory testing for product quality or the use of calibrated meters for measuring quantities delivered. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear, agreed-upon process for verifying compliance with technical specifications, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring product or service quality.
