Common use of SAMSHA Grant Clause in Contracts

SAMSHA Grant. The Contractor and County acknowledge and agree that as least part of the funding for this Agreement is from SAMSHA grant funding, and as such, the following restrictions and requirements shall apply: 1. Funding must be used according to the following criteria: a. Services must be provided to residents principally residing in a defined geographic area (referred to as service areas); b. Outpatient services, including specialized outpatient services for children, the elderly, individuals with a serious mental illness, and residents of the service areas of the centers who have been discharged from inpatient treatment at a mental health facility;
