Sanctioned Territory. Afghanistan, Belarus, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, so-called Donetsk and Luhansk Peoples’ Republics and other Ukrainian territories claimed to be Annexed by Russia or any country or region which is, or whose government is, or becomes, a target of comprehensive, country-wide or territory-wide Sanctions.

Sanctioned Territory. “Sanctioned Territory” shall mean any country or territory which is itself the subject or target of any country-wide or territory-wide comprehensive economic sanctions imposed by the United States at any point over the previous five years, including, but not limited to, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea and so-called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine.

Sanctioned Territory. At any time, a country or territory which is the subject or target of (a) comprehensive Sanctions, including the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria, and (b) other broad Sanctions including Afghanistan, Belarus, Russia and Venezuela. Sanctions - Sanctions means any economic, financial or trade sanctions or restrictions administered or enforced by Canada (including the government of any province or territory thereof), the United States (including the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Commerce), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union and any member state thereof, and the United Kingdom (including His Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom). Transmission Charges: charges for moving high voltage electricity from a generation facility to the distribution lines of an electric distribution company. Transmission Service Charges: fees for switching, disconnecting, reconnecting or maintaining electric service or equipment, or transmission or transmission-related charges, that are imposed by law, rule, regulation or tariff, or Commission rule or order. Utility: your local electricity or natural gas distribution utility.

  • Territory 33.1 This Agreement applies to the territory in which CenturyLink operates as an ILEC in the State. CenturyLink shall be obligated to provide services under this Agreement only within this territory. 33.2 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, CenturyLink may terminate this Agreement as to a specific operating territory or portion thereof pursuant to Section 6.7 of this Agreement.

  • Restricted Territory Executive and Company understand and agree that Company’s business is not geographically restricted and is unrelated to the physical location of Company facilities or the physical location of any Competing Business, due to extensive use of the Internet, telephones, facsimile transmissions and other means of electronic information and product distribution. If, but only if, this Restricted Territory is held to be invalid on the grounds that it is unreasonably broad, then the Restricted Territory shall be any location within a fifty (50) mile radius of any Company office.

  • Political Activity Prohibited None of the funds, materials, property or services provided directly or indirectly under the Agreement shall be used for any partisan political activity, or to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office.

  • Foreign Terrorist Organizations Contractor represents and warrants that it is not engaged in business with Iran, Sudan, or a foreign terrorist organization, as prohibited by Section 2252.152 of the Texas Government Code.

  • Commercial or Marketing Use Prohibition Contractor agrees that it will not sell PII or use or disclose PII for a Commercial or Marketing Purpose.

  • Political Activities Grant funds cannot be used for the following activities: A. Grantees and their relevant sub-grantees or subcontractors are prohibited from using grant funds directly or indirectly for political purposes, including lobbying, advocating for legislation, campaigning for, endorsing, contributing to, or otherwise supporting political candidates or parties, and voter registration campaigns. D. As applicable, Grantee will comply with 31 USC § 1352, relating to the limitation on use of appropriated funds to influence certain Federal contracting and financial transactions.

  • Illegal Activities Seller shall not engage in any conduct or activity that could subject its assets to forfeiture or seizure.

  • Commercial Activities Neither Contractor nor its employees shall establish any commercial activity or issue concessions or permits of any kind to Third Parties for establishing commercial activities on the Site or any other lands owned or controlled by Owner.
