Common use of Sanctions and other Anti-Terrorism Laws Clause in Contracts

Sanctions and other Anti-Terrorism Laws. No Covered Entity: (a) is a Sanctioned Person; and (b) directly, or indirectly through any third party to the best of its knowledge, engages in any transactions or other dealings with any Sanctioned Person or Sanctioned Jurisdiction, or which otherwise are prohibited by any Laws of the United States or Laws of other applicable jurisdictions relating to economic sanctions and other Anti-Terrorism Laws.

No Covered Entity: (ai) is a Sanctioned Person, nor any employees, officers, directors, affiliates, consultants, brokers or agents acting on a Covered Entity’s behalf in connection with this Agreement is a Sanctioned Person; and (bii) directly, or indirectly through any third party to the best of its knowledgeparty, engages in any transactions or other dealings with any Sanctioned Person or Sanctioned Jurisdiction, or which otherwise are prohibited by any Laws of the United States or Laws of other applicable jurisdictions relating to economic sanctions and other Anti-Terrorism Laws.
