Sanctions and Remedial Actions. The Department may pursue all sanctions and remedial actions with HMOs that are taken with Medicaid FFS providers, including any civil penalties not to exceed the amounts specified in the Balanced Budget Amendment of 1997 P.L. 105-33 Sec. 4707(a) [42 U.S.C. 1396v(d)(2)].
