Save for the Third Sample Clauses
The 'Save for the Third' clause serves to protect the interests of a third party in a contract, ensuring that certain rights or obligations are preserved for someone who is not a direct party to the agreement. In practice, this clause might specify that, despite other provisions in the contract, a third party—such as a beneficiary or subcontractor—retains specific rights or claims. Its core function is to clarify and safeguard the position of third parties, preventing their interests from being unintentionally overridden or excluded by the main contract terms.
Save for the Third. Party Payer as defined in Clause 6 of the Schedule hereunder in respect of its rights under this Agreement, a person who is not a party to this Agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Chapter 623) (or any similar law, regulation or rule in any jurisdiction) to enforce any term of this Agreement.
