Scholastic Aptitude. Each learner will undergo diagnostic testing to ascertain at what level of the curriculum he/she should be placed. King’s Way Early Learning Centre is not a remedial school. However, upon evaluation of a learner’s special needs, the school may enrol learners with special needs according to the school’s macro plan and ability to cater for such special needs. The enrolment of such learners will only be finalised in co- operation with the relevant out of school specialists. Learners from other A.C.E. curriculum schools will receive preferential placement, based on a positive reference from their previous school- with regards to the xxxxxxx’s character, academic achievement and overall best interest as well as parental support to the school and system.

  • Bus Drivers The provisions of this Article apply to school term bus drivers except as hereinafter modified. Bus Drivers are guaranteed a base of one thousand and ninety (1090) hours per school year. Guarantee consists of 1090 hours divided by possible working days in a school year times actual number of days worked. This excludes Saturday and Sunday and General Holiday trips. (a) Regular shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers to school in the morning and home in the afternoon. (b) Extra shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers for extra-curricular activities. (c) Shifts shall be paid at a minimum of two (2) hours and drivers' time will be uninterrupted if less than one-half (½) hour remains between shifts. (i) Drivers are entitled to one 15 minute rest period after two (2) hours of work and a second rest period after six (6) hours of work. Paid waiting times of 15 minutes or more will be construed as a paid rest period regardless of the length of time spent waiting. (d) All work after nineteen hundred (1900) hours on those days on which the regular shift has been worked shall be deemed to be overtime. After twelve (12) hours from the start of the regular shift, work will be deemed as overtime. (e) Hours of work consisting of regular and extra shifts and overtime are shared as equally as possible amongst drivers. Each driver has the opportunity to choose a percentage of the work available beyond one’s guaranteed hours, although the decision of the Employer will prevail. If no drivers are available, other transportation department staff may share the work. (f) Where School District transportation is used for extra-curricular trips on Saturdays and Sundays, the following applies instead of the overtime rates in Article 10.2: (i) Time and one-half (1 ½) regular rate for driving to and from destination. (ii) Upon arrival at destination, waiting time shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. (iii) No shift will be paid less than four (4) hours. (iv) Trips that are cancelled where the driver positions into departure point/school shall be paid at two (2) hours at one and one half (1 ½) times the regular rate. (v) All work carried out in this sub paragraph 9.5(f) shall be on a volunteer basis and shared as equally as possible. All Transportation employees may participate and shall be paid at the Bus Driver rate of pay. (vi) An exception to 9.5 (f) (i) to (iv) above will apply to bus driving on ski trips. Bus drivers who drive on ski trips shall share those hours only with other registered ski trip drivers. (g) Work carried out on General Holidays shall be paid in accordance with the current contract rates. (h) At the end of each school year a review of school bus drivers’ hours of work will be made to ensure minimum guarantee is met. Any shortages will be paid out.

  • Analytics 1.1. IFS may track and analyze the usage of the IFS Offering for purposes of determining usage made of the IFS Offering, for the purposes of security, to assist customers, and for improving the Software and Services and the user experience in using such Software and Services. For example, IFS may use this information to help customers derive more value from the Software and Services, to understand and analyze trends, or to track which features are used most often in order to improve the Software and Services. IFS may share anonymous usage data with its service providers for the purpose of helping in such tracking, analysis and improvements. Additionally, IFS may share such anonymous usage data on an aggregate basis in the normal course of operating their business; for example, IFS may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of its software and services. TERMS - SERVICES

  • Value Engineering The Supplier may prepare, at its own cost, a value engineering proposal at any time during the performance of the contract. The value engineering proposal shall, at a minimum, include the following; a) the proposed change(s), and a description of the difference to the existing contract requirements; b) a full cost/benefit analysis of the proposed change(s) including a description and estimate of costs (including life cycle costs) the Procuring Entity may incur in implementing the value engineering proposal; and c) a description of any effect(s) of the change on performance/functionality.

  • Capabilities A. The Parties agree that the DRE must possess the legal, technical, and financial capacity to: (1) Accept and expend non-federal funds consistent with Section 4.2.4; (2) Accept transfer of the FERC license and title for the Facilities from PacifiCorp; (3) Seek and obtain necessary permits and other authorizations to implement Facilities Removal; (4) Enter into appropriate contracts and grant agreements for effectuating Facilities Removal; (5) Perform, directly or by oversight, Facilities Removal; (6) Prevent, mitigate, and respond to damages the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns cause during the course of Facilities Removal, and, consistent with Applicable Law, respond to and defend associated liability claims against the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns, including costs thereof and any judgments or awards resulting therefrom; (7) Carry the required insurance and bonding set forth in Appendix L to respond to liability and damages claims associated with Facilities Removal against the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns; (8) Meet the deadlines set forth in Exhibit 4; and (9) Perform such other tasks as are reasonable and necessary for Facilities Removal. B. Before the DRE and PacifiCorp file the joint application to transfer the license for the Facilities, the DRE will Timely demonstrate to the reasonable satisfaction of the States and PacifiCorp that it possesses the legal, technical, and financial capacity to accomplish the tasks in Sections 7.1.2.A(1) through (5), (8), and (9). PacifiCorp and the States will consult if the DRE fails to make the demonstration required in this subsection. C. Within six months of the DRE’s execution of the Settlement, the DRE will include in an informational filing in the FERC license transfer proceeding proof that it possesses the legal, technical, and financial capacity to accomplish the tasks in Sections 7.1.2.A(6) and (7). This filing will include documentation that the DRE meets the requirements of Parts II, III, and IV of Appendix L and is capable of fulfilling its obligations under Section 7.1.3. The DRE will not provide the filing if either of the States or PacifiCorp objects to the filing after a reasonable opportunity to review before submission to FERC. The six-month deadline may be changed by agreement of the DRE, the States, and PacifiCorp. The Parties will Meet and Confer if the DRE fails to provide the informational filing to FERC.
