SECONDARY MANAGEMENT AREAS Clause Samples
SECONDARY MANAGEMENT AREAS. Primary Management Areas are lands where the primary purpose will be wildlife habitat management. Secondary management areas are PacifiCorp lands within or adjacent to the Project lands and have a primary purpose other than wildlife habitat, such as recreation; as a result, they may contain both managed and unmanaged landscapes. There are eight (8) secondary management associated with recreation sites. There are six parks including Silter Park, Powerhouse Park, Pacific Park, South Shore River and Reservoir Access, Swan River Nature Trail Parking Area, and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Rapids Boat Ramp. There are two hiking trails, the Swan River Nature Trail, and the Kayak Single Access Trail. The area between the Swan River Nature Trail is considered fishing access (FERC 2002). The Project features listed in Section 3.0 list operations areas that are considered Excluded Management Areas (e.g. forebay structure and powerhouse). Secondary and Excluded areas are identified on a map in Appendix B.
