Section 2, Union Members Sample Clauses

Section 2, Union Members. So long as permitted by applicable laws, decisions and regulations, all employees covered by this agreement shall as a condition of continued employment be required to be members of the Union on the effective date of this agreement. Probationary employees and new hires shall become eligible for union membership thirty (30) calendar days after being hired and shall become members of the Union before being transferred to the active seniority list at the end of the sixty (60) day probationary period.
