Section 8.2.1.1. 13 In computing the total vacation credit for any period of service, part of an hour will be 14 disregarded if less than one-half (1/2) hour; otherwise, it will be counted as a full hour.

Section 8.2.1.1. 11 A newly hired employee, who on July 1, has not completed twelve (12) months of 12 employment shall earn and be granted a proportional number of days of paid vacation as 13 those months of completed employment (eleven (11) days of work in a calendar month 14 shall constitute a full "month") bear to twelve (12) months; such computation shall be 15 rounded out to the nearest full day. Such employees shall earn one (1) additional day of 16 paid vacation for each year of service completed thereafter, consistent with 18 or more days of paid vacation. In the event the proportional computation herein results 19 in less than six (6) days, the employee will earn ten (10) days in the second year of 20 employment and one (1) additional day of paid vacation for each year of service 21 completed thereafter, consistent with Section 8.2.1 above.
Section 8.2.1.1. 47 In computing vacation credit, every regular workday from which an employee is absent 48 due to a holiday, or compensated leave, the hours of the employee's normal work shift 1 shall be credited as if worked.   • Section 7.5 14 Employees required to work through their regular lunch periods will be given time to eat at a time 15 agreed upon by the employee and supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a 16 lunch period and the employee works the entire shift, including the lunch period, the employee shall be 17 compensated for the foregone lunch period at overtime rates.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest.
