Common use of Section Meal Period Clause in Contracts

Section Meal Period. An employee shall not take more than one continuous hour for meals, however, should the taking of full hour meals cause a delay in operations, the Company may require tho employee to no less than thirty (30) minutes. This shall not preclude the Union and the Company from mutually agreeing that the regular lunch period shall be thirty (30) minutes. The lunch period shall be no later than halfway through the shift except where mutually agreed.
