Common use of SECURITY DEVICES AND EXTERIOR DOOR LOCKS Clause in Contracts

SECURITY DEVICES AND EXTERIOR DOOR LOCKS. The Texas Property Code requires that the Premises be equipped with certain types of locks and security devices. Said Code will govern the rights and obligations of the parties regarding security devices. All notices or requests by Tenant for re-keying, changing, installing, repairing, or replacing security devices must be made in writing to the Landlord. All additional security devices or additional re-keying or replacement of security devices desired by Tenant shall be paid by Tenant in advance and may only be installed by Landlord or Landlord’s contractors after receiving a written request from Tenant.
